• I have previously worked for several daily newspapers and currently freelance for many different publications, but this page is more or less an outlet for musings about the Minnesota Gophers or Minnesota Twins.
• I also contributed to Fringe Bowl Team, a now-defunct blog dedicated to covering the Minnesota Gophers. In a similar vein, I created a few T-shirts with the maroon and gold tailgate in mind at Empty Bandwagon.
• Opinions and views expressed here ~~should be accepted as fact~~ represent myself and not any other person, employer or outside entity.
• Everything else can be summarized by: Love the Golden Gophers, but hate all the drawn-out winters.

Never has it been laid more bare, and never did it feel so empty. It felt like a break, the moment when the tide crested, when we looked at the games, and their players, and ourselves, and wondered: Why in the world are we watching these awful people? It was a question impossible to answer.
